This eggshell porcelain is a true collectible for the home with its rich red color on eggshell white and splashes of a few other various colors. Makers markers on the bottom. This entire bowl is elegant with the shape and handpainted scenery. The bowl features an idyllic scene of ancient Japan with multiple Geishas in colorful robes at the bottom. In the background is a beautiful village sitting against a large body of water surrounded by hills and mountains. Buildings with red roofs sit on top of the land surrounded by green trees and pink cherry blossoms. This bowl is elegantly painted with gold and red around the rim. The rim also has a border of ornate patterns. The scenery is also accented in real gold in several areas.
