Hornsea pottery sauce or gravy jug with plate.

A delicious Hornsea jug and plate with the Cranberry pattern. A gorgeous jug, with saucer decorated with pretty red flowers. The Cranberry pattern was fired for a limited time, and there isn't very much of it about, It's one of my favourite Hornsea Patterns. Part of the Contrast range, the chocolate brown, matt clay is contrasted with a glossy white glaze. In excellent condition, the jug can be used for sauces, gravy or custard, and sits snugly in the saucer. Measuring 13cm across excluding candle and 7 cm tall. Plate is 17cm across. The red and grey rings of the saucer pick up the cheerful cranberry red flowers and grey leaves that dance about the jug. Scrumptious!
