SPRING SALE!!
This 5.25” Hummel figurine is in MINT condition. It bears no chips, cracks, crazing or any other defect. Its trademark ( TMK #3 Stylized Bee) was produced in the Circa 1959 - 1969. Master sculptor Reinhold Unger crafted this from one of Sister Maria’s drawings in 1947. It was originally called “On the Alpine Pasture”.
Sister Maria had a love of children and a whimsical nature and sketched them in various situations. This charming, kindred little boy is serenading his folks with his “juice box”. A feather in his hat, a song on his lips and his hair flowing in the breeze! An extremely colorful and detailed porcelain figurine and made by the fabulous craftsmen at the Goebel factory.
There is such beautiful detail in this hand painted figure - so typical of the quality of Goebel's porcelain figurines.
