This rare vintage Drostdy Ware South African studio art plate is signed on the back and reads, "France Marot Hand Decorated SMP Xhos Woman Drawing Water N5 Drostdy Ware Made In South African E". The amazingly beautiful white details on this plate are carvings from the caramel-colored glaze to expose the white base.

Size: approximately 10 1/4" in diameter
Condition - preowned in "very good" condition with no cracks or breaks, see pictures #7 and #8 for marks made during original production, see picture #9 for crazing typical of vintage glaze
