Voodoo Doll Sculpture Diorama Resurrection from the Dead Zombie Statue

This sculpture is somewhat of a mystery - I have no idea where it came from, or who the artist is. I purchased it from a man in Georgia who did not know much about it either, but voodoo is very much alive there. It's not signed anywhere that I can see. It's made out of paper mache' and various other mixed media materials like plastic and resin. The cotton all around it appears to be real and handpicked as well. It appears that the man is conducting a ceremony or ritual of some sorts. He has a long hat with his hair flowing out of it, and intensely pounding his drum. The dirty hands look like they represent death coming out of the grave. Perhaps he is trying to resurrect the dead? Creepy, cool, and weird!! Measures approximately 10" tall at longest point by 7" wide. Weighs approximately 1.4 lbs.
