Soar over untouched rainforest to two of Guyana’s most spectacular waterfalls in one unforgettable day. Stand in awe at mighty Kaieteur, then unwind at the serene, swim-friendly Orinduik Falls.
A perfectly balanced journey of adventure, beauty, and pure natural wonder.
This unforgettable day begins at Eugene F. Correia International Airport, where you’ll boarda chartered aircraft for a scenic flight over Guyana’s vast, untouched rainforest. In just under an hour, the landscape opens to reveal Kaieteur Falls, a moment most travellers describe as unforgettable — especially when first seen from the air.
At 741 feet, Kaieteur is the world’s tallest single-drop waterfall, plunging dramatically into a deep gorge within Kaieteur National Park. On the ground, a guided walk through the rainforest leads you to several spectacular viewpoints, including Boy Scouts View, Rainbow View, and Johnson View, each offering a different perspective of the falls’ sheer power and scale.
Along the way, your guide shares the Patamona legend behind Kaieteur’s name and points out rare wildlife, including the tiny golden frog, found nowhere else in the world, and the striking Guianan Cock-of-the-Rock.
After time to take it all in, you’ll enjoy lunch and refreshments at Kaieteur Lodge before boarding the aircraft once more for a short flight over the Pakaraima Mountains to the equally stunning — but very different — Orinduik Falls.
Set along the Ireng River, which forms Guyana’s border with Brazil, Orinduik flows gently over smooth jasper rock terraces, creating natural pools ideal for swimming and relaxing. Here, you’ll have time to wade in the clear waters, take photos, and enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding savannah and rolling hills.
As the afternoon light softens, your return flight offers one final aerial perspective of Guyana’s immense rainforest before landing back at Ogle — bringing a close to a day that showcases the raw beauty, scale, and diversity of Guyana’s interior.
